Tyler Dobson (January 13, 1991 – April 15, 2025)

TYLER JAMES DOBSON January 13, 1991 – April 15, 2025 Forever Loved

“Wherever a beautiful soul has been, there is a trail of beautiful memories.” – Ronald Reagan

With broken hearts and treasured memories, we announce the passing of Tyler James Dobson. Born in Windsor on January 13, 1991, Tyler passed away unexpectedly on April 15, 2025, on the island he loved – Pelee Island. He lived his life in Kingsville, where he attended Jack Miner Public School and Kingsville District High School.

Tyler was a skilled and passionate painter, bringing a “Fresh Coat” and vibrant energy to homes and spaces across Essex County.

He lived loud, laughed often, and loved fiercely. His hobbies were many — but let’s be honest, most of them revolved around snowboarding.

He also loved frustrating his sisters, snuggling his dog Winnie, playing poker with the boys, soaking in the view of the lake, exploring new places, hunting, challenging family members in a game of chess, and more recently, experimenting in the kitchen. His sense of humour was infectious, his presence unforgettable.

Tyler’s passing leaves a space in our world no one can fill and a sorrow too deep for words. But his love, laughter, and spirit live on in each of us who had the joy of knowing him. Our prayer is that Tyler continues to bring light, mischief, and warmth to heaven — just as he did here.

Tyler is survived by his partner and love, Mackenzie Browning. Parents, Ruby Dobson-Ferguson (Keven Ferguson) and Tim Dobson (Marita). Siblings, Meghan Gagné (Joel), Morghan Full (Isaac), Kyle Ferguson (Kim), Jasmyne Perri (Mike), Kiana Dobson (Levi). Grandparents, Douglas Nuttall, Valerie Dobson.

Parents-in-law, Catherine and Gord Browning, brothers-in-law: Alexander (Kaitlin) and Spencer, uncles, Terry Dobson, Rob Dobson (Sue), cousins, Joshua, Carter, Danielle, Jordyn, Jack and Brooklyn, nieces and nephews: Thomas, Cameron, Colin, Asher, Aries, Francis, Amelia, and Vivien, his “Band of Brothers”, Darcy, Cody, Brandon, Tommy, Jamie, Phil, Cole, and Josh.

He is predeceased by his grandparents, Jean Nuttall and Robin Dobson. A private family service will be held to honour Tyler.

A celebration of Tyler’s life will take place in early June 2025. Please contact the family for details. Arrangements entrusted to Kendrick Funeral Home, Kingsville. Online condolences and memories may be shared at www.kendrickfuneralhome.com.
