Two Vehicle Collision In Kingsville Leads To Impaired Charge

On April 10, 2025, at 5:06 p.m., members of the Essex County OPP and Essex Windsor Paramedic Service were dispatched to the intersection of County Road 20 and Graham Side Road in Kingsville for the report of a two-vehicle collision.

An involved driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Essex County OPP Detachment.

The driver of the second vehicle was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

As a result, a 55-year-old male resident of Kingsville, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol
  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on April 23, 2025.

The Essex OPP wants to remind the public that if you see anything suspicious or suspect an impaired driver you should contact the Ontario Provincial Police or your nearest police authority immediately.
