A pedestrian is deceased after being struck by a vehicle in the Municipality of Leamington

On April 16, 2025, at approximately 2:10 p.m., members of the Essex County OPP, Leamington Fire Department and Essex-Windsor Emergency Medical Service (EMS) responded to a collision involving a pedestrian on Erie Street South in Leamington.

The pedestrian was struck by a motor vehicle and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the vehicle was not injured.

The Essex County OPP with the assistance of the West Region Traffic Incident Management Enforcement (TIME) Team are actively conducting an investigation and are appealing to the public for assistance.
