OPENING OF THE MOTORCYCLE SEASON 2025 IN WINDSOR REGION AND ESSEX COUNTY

First Lutheran Church Kingsville and Hogs for Hospice™ invite motorcycle riders and the Kingsville community for the annual Blessing of the Bikes. This public gathering opens the 2025 riding season in the Windsor region and Essex County with a blessing for the riders to have a safe year, promote a sense of fellowship among riders and community, and support small businesses in our area.

All these elements support the motto of  Hogs for Hospice, “Brotherhood, Sisterhood, and Doing Good.”

The event begins with an indoor worship service at 10:30a.m. on Sunday, May 4th at First Lutheran Church in Kingsville (27 Spruce Street North, Kingsville ON).

Immediately after the service, starting 11:30am, all riders meet in front of the church for the general blessing, followed by personal prayers for individual riders. Traditionally, each rider obtains an annual sticker as a reminder of the bestowed blessing.
