Kingsville Horticultural Society’s Seedy Saturday A Big Success

The Horticultural Society of Kingsville had another successful Seedy Saturday event on March 22nd.

Members of the public were able to browse a variety of goods offered by vendors and gain valuable information to help them plan their gardens for the year.

The Kingsville Horticultural Society (KHS) was pleased to showcase goods from the following:

  • Half Acre Homestead
  • Grape Lakes Farm
  • Terry James Compost
  • East Beach Flower Farm
  • Our Farm Organics
  • Communities in Bloom

A variety of vegetable and flower seeds were available for a small sum.

We wish everyone great success in starting off their plants for the season!

Children were able to create a bird using recycled materials such as toilet paper rolls, scraps of paper, feathers and a little imagination.

Of course the bake sale was a great hit!

Thank you to all of the horticultural society members who baked a very large variety of goodies.

If you missed our Seedy Saturday event this year, we can still help you out with your garden if you visit our plant sale in May.
