Intimate Partner Violence Investigation In Kingsville Results In Charges

Essex County OPP charge individual following Intimate Partner Violence investigation

On March 17, 2025, at 4:00 p.m., members of the Essex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated an intimate partner complaint.

As a result of the investigation, a 72-year-old of McDougall, Ontario has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

  • Utter Threats – Cause death or Bodily Harm-Spousal (Two counts)

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice at a future date to speak to the charges.

The OPP will not release names to protect the identity of the victims.
