The Town of Kingsville wants to inform the public that Fisheries and Oceans Canada – Small Craft Harbours (DFO-SCH) plans to demolish the docks and supporting structure at Cedar Beach Small Craft Harbour this January.

The docks are in poor condition and have started to deteriorate to the point where the structure may be unsafe for public use.

The contractor will use various pieces of heavy equipment, such as an excavator, small crane, skid steer, and trailers, to remove the structure and level everything to the lakebed. When the project is complete, they will haul the dock materials to a disposal location off-site.
