Doug Taylor

Passed away peacefully with his loving wife, Linda, by his side on December 26, 2024 at the age of 80. Beloved father of Michael (Raquel) and David (Lisa). Proud Grandpa and Papa of Caleb, Bethany (Abraham), Evan, Noah. Caring brother-in-law of Brenda and Robert (Connie).

Doug was born in St. John’s Newfoundland to the late Steve and Daisy Taylor. Doug will also be missed by nieces, nephews, and extended family. As per Doug’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family gathering will be held.

Doug worked at CN for 32 years. He loved cars, trains, and traveling to dog shows in his motorhomes. He was quick to start up a conversation with anyone. He built two houses and a barn, fixed and maintained many family vehicles, and will be dearly missed

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 1-4pm at Linda’s House.

If so desired, donations in memory of Douglas can be made to the Alzheimer Society.
