Case Versnel

Passed away December 31, 2024 surrounded by his loving family at the age of 97. He is predeceased by his loving wife and best friend, Janna Versnel (2019) of 68 years. Loving father of Corey (Linda), Lynda Snow (late Jeff Gagnon) and Joe (Kathy).

Adored grandpa of Casey, Jim, Matthew, Michael, Joey-Lynn, Jennifer, and Tina and 10 great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind his siblings Gerritje (Late Kess) Blinde and Midge (late John) Burrow, and is predeceased by his siblings Annie (Ernie) Vandenberg, Gerrit (Cori) Versnel, and Arie (Joanne) Versnel.

Case will be missed by his brothers and sisters-in-law Tilly (late Ken), Adrian (Sue) and Hank (Jackie), and many extended family and friends.

Case immigrated to Canada in 1950, and began farming in 1954. He continued his work on the farm up until just a couple of years ago. He also was one of the founders of Faith Reformed Church in Ruthven.

Visitation will be held at Kendrick Funeral Home – Kingsville, on Friday, January 3rd, 2025 from 4-8 p.m.

A service to celebrate Case’s life will take place at the funeral home on Saturday, January 4th, 2025 at 10:00am.

Interment to follow in Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery, Leamington.
