Lend a Hand for Seniors Snow Removal

Winter has arrived, and our Lend a Hand program is here to help seniors in our community with snow removal. We’re committed to keeping our neighbourhoods safe and accessible for everyone.

To make this happen, we need volunteers!

FOR VOLUNTEERS:

– Earn high school community service hours
– A great opportunity for families and groups
– Give back to your community and build meaningful connections
– As a volunteer, you’ll be matched with seniors in your area who need support

FOR CLIENTS:

– Seniors must complete a phone intake with a Case Manager to be added to the snow removal waitlist.
– When a snowfall is announced, volunteers will call to confirm that shoveling services will be provided, so seniors can stay safe and comfortable.
