Ho Ho Ho! Welcome to December, the month stuffed from start to finish with holidays and celebrations of all kinds. Festivities are invigorating and uplifting but there’s a downside, isn’t there.
When you’ve got a mountain of holiday plans to make, there follows inevitably a mountain of bills and payments to be faced. ‘Tis the season to be worried about how to pay for everything this time of year. And that goes for gifts, for special foods, for groceries and utilities.
The Kingsville Community Food Bank is at the ready to help bridge the gap when what’s in the wallet just isn’t enough to fill the kitchen shelves. We are thankful for the Food Bank volunteers and our community members, as they continue to help feed those in need.
Here’s a list of items that the Food Bank is looking for in December:
They also welcome gift cards for groceries, products for babies, pet supplies including dog and cat food, laundry and dish detergents, toilet paper, paper towels, and more. Cardboard boxes and cloth bags are always welcome. If you can help, the Food Bank thanks you for your generosity.
The Food Bank is located at 18 Division Street North in Kingsville across the street from RBC Bank. You can also use their drop-off bin inside Zehrs, shown in the picture below.
