At its November 25, 2024 meeting, Council:
- Referred two reports concerning 1478 Road 2 East and part of 0 Road 2 East (vacant lot) back to Administration for further information. These reports include the proposed Draft Plan of Subdivision, the corresponding Consent Application (B-2024-27), and the Zoning By-law Amendment (ZBA-2024-19) for Mivita Estates.
- Approved the 2025 Fees and Charges By-law subject to the following amendments:
- The Fee for the Meter Transponder Replacement will be charged upon a second replacement occurrence; and,
- All Fees related to Tennis were referred back to Administration for additional information.
- Approved the 2025 Water and Sewage Rates.
- Approved the proposed amendments to the Development Charges By-law, which includes the cost of growth-related studies and repealed the phase-in requirements that are no longer mandatory.
- Authorized entering into a Management Agreement with Fisheries and Oceans Canada for the Small Craft Harbours’ Facility at Cedar Beach.
- Endorsed Kingsville Fire & Rescue’s 2024 Community Risk Assessment.
