ART DISPLAY
Local Quilter Sandra Walker
The Essex County Library is pleased to present the art of Sandra Walker at our Kingsville Branch for the month of November. Sandra has loved handwork since she was a little girl; she learned to knit at age 6, and sew at age 10.
Quilting had always intrigued her, but dressmaking and sewing for the home were her passions … until she discovered a rotary cutter.
Nearly 30 years later, quilting occupies the majority of her day. She has been published in several magazines, and sews for several fabric companies as well as for her own joy.

DROP-IN ACTIVITY FOR ADULTS
Coffee and Colouring
Saturday November 16th from 1- 3p.m.
Drop into the branch and join other adults for a hot beverage and a simple creative activity. We will offer this program monthly. Coloring offers tons of mental benefits.
Just like meditation, coloring allows us to switch off our brains from other thoughts and focus only on the moment, helping to alleviate anxiety.
We provide the coloring materials and beverages (coffee, tea, hot cocoa, water).
