Mark Bebee
Mark passed away peacefully after a short stay at Erie Shores Hospice in Leamington. Predeceased by his wife Mary (2023) who was the love of his life for 76 years. Predeceased by his parents William and Amy Bebee, guardians Leo and Doris (Bebee) Larivee, his brothers Melvin, Maurice, Milton, and sisters Lida Bebee, Jane Freeman(Bebee) and Lee Mcnalty (Larivee).
Survived by his son Larry and daughter-in-law Wendy, step grandchildren Rachel and Jason Meloche, great-granddaughter Evie Meloche and many nieces and nephews.
Raised in North Bay, ON and where he worked for the CNR express. Transferred to Toronto, Windsor, Edmonton, back to Windsor where he retired as terminal manager. In the town of Essex, he served on the board of the Essex retirees and as president was instrumental in securing their present location. Long time member of Essex United Church and Essex lawn bowlers.
On his daily routine he could be seen walking down Center Street to the Deluxe Restaurant for breakfast, the bank to check his bank book and through Giant Tiger (Scotts) to make sure we were doing it right. He lived a long and good life.
Thank you to the home care workers over the last 5 years. Thank you to the dedicated staff at Rosewood Manor whose caring touch kept him in good spirits. Thank you to the Hospice staff and volunteers for their compassion and care. Thank you to Robert and Arlene Lacroix for their friendship and help over the years.
At Mark’s request, private services have taken place. Arrangements entrusted to Kendrick Funeral Home, Kingsville.
