Pockets of fog across Essex County resulted in widespread bus cancellations and wreaked havoc on traffic this morning.

In Kingsville, particularly along Jasperson Lane, vehicles came to a standstill in both directions as parents scrambled to ensure their children made it to school on time.

By the afternoon, however, conditions in the affected areas had improved significantly.  Bus services were fully restored and traffic returned to its usual flow.
