Ruth Wass
Passed away peacefully on September 19, 2024 at the age of 79.
Cherished sister of Catherine (Joe) Schooley of Amherstburg, and Gladys (late Walter) Noddin, of Terrace, B.C.
Ruth is also survived by her nieces, Leslie (Dan) Corneillier, and Ann Noddin (Mike).
Ruth is predeceased by her brothers Arthur (2019) and Bob (2008).
She was born in Windsor, Ontario to the late George and Margaret Wass.
Ruth was an elementary school teacher for 30 years, a committed leader and advocate of Girl Guides of Canada for 60 years, and a dedicated member of the Wonder Broads Dragon Boat Team for 10 years.
As per Ruth’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
Friends and family are invited to Memorial Visitation at Kendrick Funeral Home – Kingsville on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 from 11am until time of Memorial service at 12pm.
If so desired, donations in memory of Ruth made to Bryerswood Youth Camp Optimist Club (6480 Texas Rd. Amherstburg, ON N0R1J0), the Canadian Cancer Society (St. Clair Ave. W. Toronto, On M4V 2Y7), or the WonderBroads Dragon Boat Team (https://wonderbroads.org/donations/).
