Recycling will be picked up on Thursday this week due to the Labour Day holiday which fell this Monday. That means you should put your red and blue boxes out on Wednesday night, September 4th for Thursday morning this week or have it out by 6 a.m. on Thursday.

A new company GFL Environmental has recently taken over. Residents are to contact GFL directly for service inquiries, issues, bins, carts or for new builds/homeowners via 1-844-415-4351 or WeRecycling@gflenv.com.

There is no set collection time for recycling. Collection can occur anytime between 6:00 am and 6:00 pm on your scheduled day.

Set-out Acceptable Materials only. Some materials such as hardcover and softcover books, paint aerosols/cans, and used motor oil will no longer be picked up. Instead these items can be dropped off for free at the EWSWA Depot.
