Art Display by Kinga Chowdry

The Essex County Library is pleased to present the art of Kinga Chowdry at our Kingsville Branch for the month of September.

“I am a self-taught artist. Although I have always loved art and admired many artists and their work, my life took me on a different path until 2017 when I started painting. I fell in love with it immediately and it became my meditation, my Zen.

“As an avid gardener, I have always admired the beauty of nature, and of flowers in particular, gives me inspiration for my paintings. Besides vibrant colours and various shapes, I try to emphasize the effects of light and shadow in a photorealistic style.”
