The Town of Kingsville has prepared a Draft Short-Term Rental (STR) By-law that would license the short-term rental market in our community. Council will consider this By-law at an upcoming Council meeting in the Fall.

Administration held a Public Information Meeting on September 24, 2024 to present the main aspects of the Draft By-law and answer questions from the public.

The Draft By-law is now available on the Town’s online citizen engagement portal, HaveYourSayKingsville.ca.

Alongside the By-law, residents will also find a recording of the Public Information Meeting and presentation materials.

What do you think of this licensing approach? We encourage all residents and STR owners to review the materials and provide comment or ask questions through the project page.

Administration will consider comments to inform any changes to the Draft By-law before it is presented to Council at their October 28, 2024 meeting.
