On Wednesday September 11, the Southwestern Ontario Gleaners pulled out all the stops for their Food For All Luncheon.

At the final tally, four hundred and twenty-two guests were in attendance, seventy-five more than last year’s event.

The luncheon hosted a great mix of visitors, from seniors to babies, as well as many local businesses who were happy to support the event by buying tickets for their employees.

The show of support is a reflection of the great work being carried out by the Southwestern Ontario Gleaners.

Of course, the food at the Roma Club was excellent, as usual!

The Southwestern Ontario Gleaners is a charity that takes non-marketable produce from local farmers and food processors and dehydrates it into a vegetable soup mix. This dried soup mix is then distributed both locally and internationally to help fight hunger.
