Essex County artist Emily Bezaire will be presenting the Half-life show at ArtSpeak Gallery from September 23-28, 2024. This exhibit will feature eight self-portraits in graphite pencil and india ink.
Half-life showcases the realities facing a woman approaching the statistical halfway point in life and explores the concept of halves in both form and content. Visitors to the show will get to view the entire series, read the essays that accompany each work, and listen to the Half-life playlist, which features music specially curated by the artist for this event.
Emily Bezaire will be in the gallery for the entire run of the show in order to interact with guests and offer more insight into the Half-life series.
