At the Leamington Council meeting of Tuesday, July 23, 2024, Council:
- Supported the Ellison Avenue Plan of Subdivision and forwarded conditions for draft plan approval to the County of Essex and approved a Zoning By-law Amendment to rezone lands located within the subdivision.
- Authorized a three-year use of space agreement between Hotel Dieu Grace Healthcare and the Municipality to provide the community with a cardiac illness recovery program.
- Approved maintenance projects for municipal roadside drainage systems.
- Authorized third party advertising at the Kinsmen Baseball Diamonds for the purpose of providing funding for future capital improvements at the Kinsmen Baseball Diamonds.
- Directed Administration to request Paid Duty OPP Officers to patrol Seacliff Park on each Saturday, Sunday, and holiday Monday, together with By-law Enforcement Officers, until September 15, 2024, with funding for these services to be paid out of the Contingency Reserve Fund.
- Authorized Administration to enter into an Amending Agreement with respect to the Agreement of Purchase and Sale with regards to the sale of lands located at 125 Talbot Street West.
