At the Leamington Council meeting of Tuesday, July 9, 2024, Council will:
- Hold a Public Meeting under the Drainage Act to consider authorizing improvements to the Jacob Fox Drain.
- Hold a Public Meeting under the Planning Act to consider:
- An application for an Official Plan and Zoning By-law Amendment to permit an additional dwelling unit to be located in the detached accessory building on the property located at 1900 Deer Run Road.
- A Zoning By-law Amendment application to permit a multi-unit dwelling containing four units on the property located at 21 Montgomery Street.
- Consider awarding a tender for the Rick Atkin Park Renewal Project to Barrineti Construction Ltd. in the amount of $1,756,604 plus applicable taxes, with the additional $388,807 to be funded from Development Charges and the Waterfront Development Reserve.
- Consider a comprehensive review of the Taxi By-law and consider options for continuing the program, cancelling the program, registration options, or ask Administration to develop a more specific and in-depth report regarding taxis in Leamington.
- Consider a Water, Wastewater, and Stormwater Agreement between the Municipality, Union Water Supply System Inc. and Caldwell First Nation.
- Consider a follow-up report applying the Agency, Board and Committee policies with recommendations to dissolve and review committees, withdraw appointments from committees, update Terms of Reference and appoint council members to the Appeal Committee.
