July means summer’s on! In spite of fish flies, and Essex County humidity, it’s a great time of the year. Yet the sense of fun and promise this month may hold for some isn’t happening for everyone. People struggling to pay their bills, and trying to feed themselves and their families, may not feel the joy.
The Kingsville Community Food Bank is here to help those who are in need. Their volunteers are dedicated and standing by to bring some relief. And we appreciate our community members who give so generously.
Here’s a list of items that the Food Bank is looking for in July:
They also welcome gift cards for groceries, products for babies, pet supplies including dog and cat food, laundry and dish detergents, toilet paper, paper towels, and more. Cardboard boxes and cloth bags are always welcome.
If you can help, the Food Bank would appreciate it.
The Food Bank is located at 18 Division Street North in Kingsville across the street from RBC Bank. You can also use their drop-off bin inside Zehrs, shown in the picture below.
