I am wondering how to know if it is safe to swim/plunge in Holiday beach this autumn?
Starting today Oct 17/24
Hi Kerry, The Health Unit monitors beach water quality at eight public beaches at least once each week from June to September to make sure that bacterial (E.coli) counts are at safe levels for swimming.
Beach sampling will take place every Wednesday (or Thursday if Wednesday is statutory holiday). You can also check for results by calling our Beach Hotline at 519-258-2146 ext. 1490.
