It’s Back –
Canada Day 5km Walk/Run/Wheel will hit the streets in Amherstburg AGAIN! 20+ years of tradition!
Come on out to beautiful historic Amherstburg and participate in our Canada Day 5km Run/Walk/Wheel and Kids dash.
Join our community as we kick off an entire day filled with fun in our timeless town.
When: July 1, 2024 9:00am
Where: 100 Laird Ave (in front of Fort Malden)
Last year this race had over 800 participants. Arguably one of the most exciting, spirited races in Windsor-Essex County.
The course takes you through Amherstburg’s historic downtown core, you’ll get cooled off by our local firefighters, hundreds of fans cheering, and every dollar raised goes back to LOCAL charities.
Last year we were able to donate $18,600 back to our community all by having fun! This race is only $40 which gives you an Amherstburg/Canada Day shirt, a medal, a post race snack, and a great way to start the kick off to Canada’s BIRTHDAY!
This event is completely run by volunteers and ALL money raised will go back directly to the following Amherstburg charities:
Amherstburg Food and Fellowship Mission
Bryerswood Youth Camp Optimist Club
Amherstburg Community Services
