Robert Anthony August Klotz

It is with saddened hearts that we announce the untimely passing of Robert on April 25, 2024 at 53 years of age. Loving husband and best friend of Heidi (nee Penner) with whom he shared 25 years of marriage. Adored father of Hannah (Jordan DeSantis), Nathan and Rachel.

Beloved son of the late Guenter and Jane Klotz. Dear brother of Theresa Adams (Ken), Corrine Klotz, Steven Klotz, late Melinda Klotz and late Gerry Klotz. Much loved uncle of Erica Peters (Bernie), Paige Morin, Sonnie Klotz, Jordan Voldarchyk (Jordan), Taylor Klotz, Austin Klotz, Colin Klotz and Allison (Samir) Dimassi. He will also be missed by many great nieces, great nephews, extended family and friends.

Rob was a dedicated Hydrovac Operator for the last 20 years where he made many lifelong friends who became family. He will always be remembered for his witty sense of humor, his love for the Toronto Maple Leafs, music and his smile that could light up any room he walked in. Above all, his unwavering love and devotion to his family will never be forgotten.

Although Rob’s mental health struggles led to his passing, he was able to save the lives of 4 others in need through organ donation. In memory of Rob, please consider becoming an organ donor or making a charitable donation to Canadian Association for Suicide Prevention.

Cremation has taken place.

Memorial visitation will be held at Reid Funeral Home, 14 Russell Street, Leamington, ON (519-326-2631) on Sunday May 19, 2024 from 10am until the Celebration of Life at 12pm.
