At the Leamington Council meeting of Tuesday, May 14, 2024, Council will:
- Hold a Public Meeting under the Planning Act to consider an application to rezone 494 Talbot Road East to permit two additional second dwelling units, accessory to the permitted main dwelling.
- Consider granting an easement to Enbridge Gas Inc. located south of Mersea Road 7, Leamington, allowing Enbridge Gas Inc. to temporarily use the Trail for construction purposes, authorizing Administration to enter into any necessary agreements, and consider allocating proceeds to the Rail Corridor Reserve.
- Consider awarding a tender for the Leamington Watermain Replacement project to Major Construction (2010) Ltd., in the amount of $2,866,787 excluding HST and fund the remainder of the projected capital deficit of $517,742 from the Water Line Renewal Reserves.
- Consider awarding a tender for the Leamington Pollution Control Centre Lower Screw Pump Upgrade project to Kingdom Construction Limited, in the amount of $2,474,832 excluding HST; with additional engineering fees in the amount of $12,300 excluding HST be approved for Dillon Consulting and the remainder of the projected capital deficit of $222,549 to be funded from PCC Reserves.
- Consider a report regarding the Business Licensing By-law Review and Recommendations from Administration.
- Consider amending the HR-2024-01 Salaried Pay Policy to remove a paragraph regarding the supervisory responsibilities of a qualified Building Inspector from the Policy as it is no longer required.
- Consider changing the name of Creekview Drive east of Heathview Trail to Nato Avenue, and changing the name of Creekview Drive, west of Heathview Trail to Gretta Avenue.
