Kingsville Fire and Rescue is pleased to host the fourth annual #WomenOnFire event at the Grovedale Arts and Culture Centre, 103 Park Street, on June 22, 2024. There will be three event session times:
- 8:30 am – 10:30 am
- 11:00 am – 1:00 pm
- 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm
This event aims to promote diversity in emergency responder organizations (such as Fire, Police, EMS, CBSA, the Canadian Armed Forces, and Correctional Services) within Windsor/Essex County.
This initiative will provide a recruitment training opportunity for women 18 years and older to try out various components of each organization’s physical testing, ask questions, network with women already working within the organizations, and have an opportunity to mentor these women if they choose.
Ignite your interest in an emergency/security services career!
St Clair College registration information will be available for related programs of study. Saje Natural Wellness will be on site to provide educational sessions on their 100% natural plant ingredient products supporting overall well-being, including – Pain, Stress, Sleep, Immunity, and Digestion.
There will be areas provided to each organization to set up any physical testing equipment and provide training or information for up to 15 participants in each of the three timeslots, for each organization.
Participants must wear appropriate attire, including footwear, sign a waiver, and provide proof of age (over 18) at sign-in (maximum half hour before event start time). To secure your spot, register through Kingsville Click & Play. Please note that there is a $5.00 registration fee.
