Jesus Caviedes

On the night of May 24th, Jesus Caviedes, more well known as Jay, passed away surrounded by friends and family after a strong fight with cancer. Born in Spain on December 23rd, 1943, after traveling through the Americas, he decided to settle in Canada in 1967 to start a new life. He worked hard in Toronto until he received a job offer in Windsor.

He travelled down and after working for a while he met his wife Marina, otherwise known as Paula. He had 2 daughters Paloma and Nicole, and a stepson Daniel.

In 2019 he had his first grandson, Ethan. During his retirement days, he enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, playing golf, swimming, and watching movies.

He was a kind and generous man that took his time to greet and catch up with anyone he knew. He loved having company and was never left alone, even in his final moments.

He was very loved by everyone he knew, never letting anyone go without a smile. He leaves behind his wife (Marina), 2 daughters (Paloma and Nicole), his son (Daniel), his grandson (Ethan), his brother (Miguel Angel), his sister (Josefina), his niece (Stephanie), and his nephews (Richard, Oscar, and Oliver).

His funeral will be held on May 30th with visitation starting at 4 p.m.
