Touring Art Exhibition: Optical Collision Display at Kingsville
Optical Collision is a vibrant drawing exchange between Canada and Mexico. This exhibition juxtaposes Natalie’s meticulous attention to detail and Minerva’s spontaneous ability with coloured ink formations.
MINERVA AYÓN – Cuernavaca, México
As a sculptor and interdisciplinary artist, her work ranges from textiles to ceramics to interactive installation.
She holds a BFS in sculpture from Center of Arts of Morelos, her MFA from the National University of México, and has studied at Concordia University, Montreal.
NATALIE NADEAU – Windsor, Canada
Multidisciplinary artist and educator, her work ranges from metal sculpture to industrial drawings to feminist photography.
She holds a BFA from the University of Windsor, and a MFA specialization in sculpture from Concordia University, Montreal.

Kingsville Branch Teen Art Contest
Contest open to Ages 13-19

Please include the dimensions and medium used, your name and contact information.
*Must be a resident of Essex County at time of entry.
Contest closes March 16, 2024. Winners will be chosen and notified by May 1st, 2024.
Winners original artwork must be brought into the Kingsville Branch by May 24, 2024.
Winners art will be displayed in the Library Teen Corner for one year with prizes to be won! An Open House and unveiling will be held in June date to be determined. Prizes will be awarded at that time.
