At the Leamington Council meeting of Tuesday, February 27, 2024, Council will:
- Hold a public meeting under the Planning Act to consider:
- An application to rezone 34 Askew Street to permit a multi-unit building and reduce the parking requirements, and
- An application to rezone 33 Hodgins Street to permit a multi-unit development and establish site-specific zoning.
- Consider the request to adopt the Fire Master Plan report prepared by The Loomex Group to use as guiding principles and future decision-making.
- Consider the Treasurer’s Statement of 2023 remuneration and expenses paid to council members, boards and committees.
- Consider awarding a tender for the three-year sewer main flushing and CCTV inspection contract to Hurricane SMS Inc. for $314,317, excluding HST.
- Consider a report requesting to retain Dillon Consulting to complete the final design of the Seacliff West trunk sanitary sewer extension, Street East, and roundabout, in the amount of $132,325 excluding HST and to retain WSP Canada to provide all geotechnical services for the project to an upset limit of $150,000.
- Consider awarding a tender for a four-wheel drive backhoe to Delta Power Equipment in the amount of $160,000, excluding HST.
- Consider awarding a 2024 Asphalt Tar and Chip Program tender to Shepley Road Maintenance in the amount of $760,425.30, excluding HST.
- Consider deeming part of a Plan of Subdivision not to be a Registered Plan of Subdivision at 108 Erie Street North, 4 Ivan Street, 13 Foundry Street, and 9 Foundry Street.
