It will be All on 1 & 1 for All on Tuesday, September 3rd.
The Greater Essex County District School Board will be welcoming all students K-12 on the first day of school this year. Previously, Kindergarten students began the school year on the Monday following Labour Day.
This schedule change will allow Kindergarten students to participate in all 194 instructional days and immediately become full members of the school community. Families, especially those with multiple students in different grades, will also benefit from this change.
The annual Kindergarten Registration period will be February 20 – March 1.
Each GECDSB elementary school will host an Open House on Wednesday, February 21st from 5-7:00 p.m. Families can sign up for the 2024-25 school year on-line at www.publicboard.ca or registrations will be taken in-person at the schools.
