The Greater Essex County District School Board (GECDSB) is preparing its budget for the 2024-25 school year and public consultation is an essential part of the planning process. The GECDSB invites parents/guardians, students, staff and community members to provide input into the budget development process.

The Board’s multi-year Strategic Plan addresses student success and well-being which identifies 3 priorities:

• Creating Confident Learners;
• Engaging Communities; and
• Demonstrating Ethical Stewardship.

As part of these priorities, the GECDSB is committed to ensure the effective, responsible and sustainable use of resources.  This survey will help to guide budget development to ensure alignment with strategic priorities.
