Council approved several recommendations necessary for advancing the construction of a West Side Collector Road and water main, including:

• Entering into a further Amending Agreement and Agreement of Purchase and Sale to take ownership of certain lands at 258 Main Street within seven days of executing the agreement.
• Entering into an Agreement of Purchase and Sale to take ownership of lands from 1552843 Ontario Ltd. (Noah Homes), per the terms of the original legal agreement dated October 21, 2021.
• Expropriating or entering into consent agreements to take other lands required for the road and waterline.
• Applying for the Housing-Enabling Water Systems Fund grant to construct the waterline.
• Completing the Class Environmental Assessment and engineering for the construction of the road and waterline.
• Entering into agreements to receive Pre-paid Development Charges (regardless of whether building permits have yet been issued for these units) by December 31, 2024, on:
  • All housing units in the Kingsville Golf Club Residences Project (26 units)
  • Valente Phase 1 Project (52 units), and;
  • Amico Affiliates on their Phase 1 Project (120 units)
