At the Leamington Council meeting on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, Council will:

• Hold a Public Meeting under the Planning Act to consider:
  • An application to rezone 17 Robson Road, Leamington, to permit a mixed-use commercial building.
  • An application to rezone 3 Coronation Avenue, Leamington, to permit a 12-unit, 2.5-storey apartment building.
• Consider undertaking public engagement to review a draft “Parkland Dedication By-law” to regulate the dedication of parkland or payment-in-lieu of parkland.

• Consider a report regarding a rehabilitation plan for the Big Tomato.

• Consider a progress report regarding the Municipality’s Official Plan.

• Consider recommendations from Administration regarding municipal business licensing.

• Consider a request to increase the value of the Spay and Neuter Voucher to $150 per voucher.

• Consider a report about the Wings Over Leamington Air Show event being held September, 27, 2024 to September 29, 2024.

• Consider awarding a contract for the Leamington Pollution Control Centre Biosolids Exhaust Fan Variable Frequency Drive Upgrades to Selectra Inc. in the amount of $126,360, excluding HST.

• Consider a request to waive Public Works fencing fees for the Polar Bear Dip event hosted by United Way.
