Kingsville Community Food Bank Needs for January, 2024

December and its holiday season is past, and now we’re left with the cold reality of January. Last month may well have been a time when people spent more than they could afford on gifts and special meals. The consequences to that can start to show up in January.

It’s a tough thing having to choose between taking care of bills or buying food. This month may be a time of  having to leave some of those bills unpaid, or simply doing without.

The Kingsville Community Food Bank is here to help people in our community who are in need. Their volunteers are dedicated and standing by to bring some relief. And we appreciate those among us who give so generously.

Here’s a list of items that the Food Bank is looking for in January:

They also welcome gift cards for groceries, products for babies, pet supplies including dog and cat food, laundry and dish detergents, toilet paper, paper towels, and more. Cardboard boxes and cloth bags are always welcome.

If you can help, the Food Bank will appreciate it.

The Food Bank is located at 18 Division Street North in Kingsville across the street from RBC Bank. You can also use their drop-off bin inside Zehrs, shown in the picture below.
