Kingsville is happy to announce that we are nearing the end of our Road 2 East Reconstruction project.
The contractor has finished all the asphalt work scheduled for 2023, and we will begin mounting the street light fixtures to existing hydro poles and temporary road painting this week. The construction signage will remain in place until we energize the street lights.
We are planning to place a final lift of asphalt and paint the roadway in spring 2024, and the project will officially conclude.

Will road 2 offload a lot of traffic from main st e. Also will trucks be directed to that road. I live on main st e close to the road. A new condo in fact. The real estate agent Tasha said it was a bypass when I asked if there were trucks on this road. I’m not from here and unfortunately I bought pre construction. I was told all the units were all sold and when I moved in the place was practically empty. The developer and main partner took 51 percent of the units. A few local prominent people bought the others on speculation. I was told the developer wanted to give back to the community. I was sold the noisy unit at the front of building. Noisy RAM trucks with exhaust pipes add ons. Trucks at 2 and 3 a.m. . Low sound proof windows. Not like sitting at Tim Hortons where you can barely hear outside traffic. Aaggg…
