Books for Hanukkah at Essex County Library

Hanukkah is the Jewish Festival of Lights. This joyous holiday celebrates a miracle from more than 2,000 years ago and is celebrated around the world.

The Jewish calendar follows the lunar cycle, so Hanukkah begins on a different date in late November to mid-December each year. This year it began at sundown on Thursday, December 7. It continues through Friday, December 15.

Check out some of our books about Hannukah at your local library branch.

Happy Hanukkah!
