Where’s Neptune? (Water Meter Project Update)

Kingsville’s Water Meter Upgrade project has begun. With the implementation of Automated Metering Infrastructure, we’ll see several benefits, including improved operational efficiency, revenue protection, enhanced customer service, and a better distribution system performance. There are also societal and environmental benefits.

The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2024. Currently, Neptune Technology Group is rolling out the initial contact letters with booking instructions in the GS 2, GS 3, and GS 4 territories on the map. If you live or own property in these areas, you should receive a letter with booking instructions soon. To book an appointment, please follow the steps outlined in your letter.

While most of these meters are pit meters that do not require an appointment, you may see Neptune Technicians near your property performing this work. Every authorized Neptune technician carries identification, including name, picture, and ID number, and is uniformed.

Neptune will release letters for the GS 6 territory next. If you have any questions about the mandatory water meter upgrade, please visit the Mandatory Water Meter Project page on our HaveYourSayKingsville portal and speak with the Town project lead.

We appreciate everyone’s cooperation in helping us make this project a success!

  1. This is great. Will you be updating every couple of weeks so residents know when to expect their letters? Will you be posting to Concerned Citizens and Kingsville Ontario fb pages?
