Congratulations to this wonderful group of Hospice Windsor and Hospice Erie Shores volunteers, who received the 2023 Ontario Volunteer Service Awards, on Friday, October 27th in an event at the Ciociaro Club.
The Ontario government awards this prestigious medal to over 3,400 community volunteers across the Province. The Award recognizes adult and youth volunteers for their outstanding contributions and years of continuous service at organizations such as non-profits, schools, community centres, hospitals, libraries and community associations.
We are so proud of our volunteers, and our Hospice truly could not function without them. This diverse group represents volunteer roles in pet therapy, Hospice Dove Pins, music therapy, produce pick-up, visiting, knitting, gardening, clinical, e-bingo, food preparation, patient care assistant, burden bears, energy work, and Hockey For Hospice.
