John Gerber

Passed away peacefully on November 1, 2023 at the age of 92.
Beloved husband of the late Marianne (2007).
Loving father of John (Irene), Sandy (Tim) Sunderland, Cathy (Ron) Wigle.
Proud Opa of Kortney (Ted), Riley, Kelsey (Chris), Michelle, Sara (Tyler), Travis (Shannon), and Rachel (Zach).
John was the proud great Opa G of, Norah, Matthew, Vivi, Linda and Beau.
John was born in Yugoslavia to the late Johann and Elizabeth Gerber.
Caring brother of Eva (late Fritz) and Fred (Pat) and is predeceased by his sister Elizabeth (late John).
John will also be missed by his many nieces and nephews.
A special thank you to both Chartwell Kingsville Court and Aged Care Royal Oak for their care and compassion.
John was a plumbing and heating contractor and owned his own business, John Gerber Plumbing and Heating, for 30 years.
He loved to spend his time fishing, hunting and spending time with his family, but especially his grandchildren.

Visitation at Kendrick Funeral Home – Kingsville on Monday, November 6, 2023 from 2-4pm & 6-8pm.
A funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday November 7, 2023 at First Lutheran Church Kingsville.
Interment to follow at Greenhill Cemetery.
If so desired, donations in memory of John can be made to the First Lutheran Church – Kingsville (27 Spruce St N, Kingsville, ON N9Y 1G2)
