Fundraising has started for the 2nd Kingsville Scouts to help them attend the Pacific Jamboree which is set to take place in Sooke, B.C. from July 6 to 13, 2024.
Because the Jamboree only occurs every four years, this will be the only opportunity for the current Scout Troop to attend this event.
Kingsville will be sending 16 Scout youth, 4 Venturer youth and 6 leaders to join 3000 other Canadian Scouts for the adventure of a lifetime!
Costs are estimated to be approximately $2500 per Scout for the weeklong camp. This includes airfare, ground transportation, accommodations, meals and food. The Scouts have been fundraising for over a year and are now reaching out to the community to look for sponsors.
Please consider a donation to an event that will be treasured for a lifetime by these young members of the community.
Sponsor names and logos will be placed on a recognition banner to be used at BBQs and other events held between January 2024 and February 2025. There are three levels of sponsorship and the Scouts would greatly appreciate any level of support.
