The 54th annual Migration Fall Festival takes place from Thursday, October 19, 2023 to Sunday, October 22, 2023.

The Great Migration Paint Out – Thursday, October 19 to Sunday, October 22

The Great Migration Paint Out is a four-day “en Plein air” painting competition that starts on Thursday, October 19, 2023.  Artists are challenged to capture the beauty of Kingsville’s scenery in this outdoor live painting competition. The Great Migration Paint Out features an adult category, a quick paint competition, and youth/children category.

The Great Migration Paint Out Show and Sale happens on Sunday, October 22, 2023 at the Grovedale Arts and Culture Centre from 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm with the award ceremony at 4:00 pm.

The Great Migration Kick-Off  – Friday, October 20

Be a part of the Great Migration Kick-Off! This will be held on Friday, October 20 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Grovedale Arts and Culture Centre. Join us for food, drinks, and live music! Tickets can be purchased at the door.

Migration Fall Festival Parade – Saturday, October 21

The Migration Fall Festival Parade returns Saturday, October 21, 2023 starting at 10:00 am. Those interested in being a part of the parade can register here.

• Activities will occur at Lion’s Park starting at 11:30 am, including:
  • Pumpkin carving with the Kingsville Community Policing Committee
  • Rides on the Kingsville Express Train
  • Jangles the Clown
  • Border City Barkers
  • Birds of Prey demonstration by Kingsport Environmental Falconry
  • And more!
• The Migration Fall Festival Marketplace will feature artisan vendors at the Grovedale Arts and Culture Centre from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.

• Jack Miner Migratory Bird Sanctuary will be hosting events in conjunction with the Town of Kingsville’s Migration Fall Festival, including children’s activities on Saturday, October 21 and a car show and pancake breakfast on Sunday, October 22.
