The Leamington Arts Centre is offering coveted naming rights sponsorships to individuals, businesses, and organizations

Residents and businesses in Windsor-Essex and beyond are invited to participate in the Leamington Arts Centre’s (LAC) Naming Rights Sponsorship Opportunities Program.

The LAC is offering highly coveted naming rights sponsorship opportunities to businesses, organizations, and individuals who are interested in having their name or organization semi-permanently advertised in a central Leamington community arts hub.

“Naming rights sponsorships are unique opportunities to support the Leamington arts and culture community while also raising the profile of one’s own business, organization, or family name,” said Chad Riley, Director and Curator of the LAC. “We want the community of Leamington to play an integral part as we expand the space and programming of the LAC.”

Coming out of the COVID-19 pandemic, the LAC is in the process of reconfiguring its long-term strategic plan. This includes taking over management of Leamington’s beloved Mill St. Market, rethinking the LAC’s programming, and expanding and reconfiguring its 10,000 square-foot facility.

With the expansion of this space, a greater number of naming rights sponsorship opportunities have become available.

“This kind of sponsorship is a win-win,” said Riley. “While supporting the LAC, businesses, organizations, and individuals receive long-term and sustainable advertising, as well as media exposure and a fully-fledged LAC membership.”

Naming rights sponsorships with the LAC work as follows: In exchange for financial support, a space at the LAC will be named after that organization or family name. Participants have the choice of a three-, five-, or 10-year commitment, each of which has different offerings.

Spaces currently available for sponsorship are the Main Gallery, the Education Studio, the Patio, the Board Room, the Market Place, and the Art Supply Shop.

The Leamington Arts Centre (LAC) is a public, not-for-profit arts centre with a focus on exhibiting visual arts and developing arts and culture programming.

The LAC was established as the South Essex Arts Association in 1971 with the mandate to create, sustain and celebrate the arts. Over the years, the LAC has developed into a cultural pillar for uptown Leamington and a regional arts and culture destination. Supported by the Municipality of Leamington, donors and its members, the LAC is a 10,000 square foot facility comprising of four exhibition spaces, a market place artist market, café and wine bar, an art supply store, an education studio and meeting spaces.

The LAC is an award winning organization known for its wide range of activities, and emphasis on community and local programming alongside ancillary events. The LAC presents a changing calendar of up to 40 diverse exhibitions each year and is home to the notable Henry collection and the LAC permanent collection, collectively comprising of over 600 Canadian, international, historical, and contemporary works of art.
