Fun and Games at Kingsville Library

Kingsville Branch Fun and Games

Sadly, summer is winding down. But we’ve been making the most of  the time remaining at the Kingsville Branch of the Essex County Library.

Recently we grew a tower, enjoyed some historical items and had a party.

Lego Tower on the Rise

We’ve been building a Lego tower all summer.

Have you seen it? It’s getting so tall!

For every book checked out you get a Lego brick to add to the tower. Come on out and add a piece.

Let’s see how high it can go!

Adult Show and Tell

The assignment? To relive your childhood “Show and Tell” days but as a grown up!

Each of our Adult Show and Tell attendees shared something personal.

We got to see a clothing ration card from England in 1947. We admired some jewelry dating back to the late 1800s.

We enjoyed hearing some stories of travel, family lore and genealogy.

Stay tuned for our next Show and Tell coming in November!

Kingsville End of Summer Fest

Last but certainly not least was our jam-packed End of Summer Celebration. The event was complete with a glow in the dark dance party and snow cones.

We had fun, games and refreshments for all ages!

Okay summer! We’re ready to say goodbye.

But you’ll be back!
