Kingsville Opens Cooling/Charging Station At Arena

Charging/Cooling Station

The Kingsville Arena has opened a charging and cooling station for the day to assist those who are still without power. You can recharge your phone and seek refuge from the heat in the Arena (1741 Jasperson Drive).

In case of emergencies, please contact 911. We are currently in contact with ELK and are aware that they are addressing a main powerline issue. Crews are working tirelessly to restore power, but an estimated restoration time cannot be provided at this moment.

Cleanup

Our team is currently in the process of assessing the damage to Town properties and clearing away fallen tree limbs. There is a lot of work to be done in our public spaces and we kindly ask for your patience as we work to restore our community. Thank you for your understanding during this challenging time.

Please note that residents are responsible for making their own arrangements to remove any debris from their private property. You can take them to the Kingsville Transfer Station located at 2021 Albuna Townline (County Road 31).

There are size restrictions for branches and stumps. If they are under 18 inches in diameter and less than 48 inches long, you can drop them off for free. If they are over 18 inches in diameter and less than 36 inches long, you can still drop them off, but they will be charged as garbage.

For more information, we recommend visiting theĀ Essex Windsor Solid Waste Authority’s website.
