James “Jim” Brian Vank

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Jim Vank on Monday, July 10, 2023, at Erie Shores Healthcare at the age of 75 years. Dear husband of Frances “Fran” Vank. loving father of the late Larry (Nicole Winger), Dwayne and Cindy Zimmer.

Proud Papa of Amber, Jeremiah, Eva, Cassidy, Alex, Daine, Emily, Shianne, Gavine, Olivia, Oliver, Jillian and Jacee; great papa of Kohen, Ryhlee, Jameson, Adalynn and Everly. Brother of Richard (late Donna), Linda (Chuck), Shirley Anne (Al) and Matthew. Predeceased by his parents, James Vank and Shirley Baker.

Also remembered by Fran’s children, Cynthia, Billy and Barb; grandchildren, Stacy, Leeanne, Elizabeth and Jamie. Jim will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Jim retired from H.J. Heinz Co. after many years of employment as a high pressure welder.

Family and friends will gather at Kendrick Funeral Home, Kingsville on Thursday, July 13th, 2023, from 1-3 and 5-7 p.m. where Words of Remembrance will begin at 7 p.m. A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 14th, 2023, at Tillsonburg Cemetery at 1 p.m.
