This past Monday the Kingsville Powerhouse Greys Jr Girls 10U Fastpitch team hosted fellow Kingsville squad, The Blues.

In a back and forth battle, both teams hit the ball well with the Greys ultimately dropping a 23-15 decision.

All of the Greys recorded multiple hits with Mia, Haliey, Lily Warkentin and Tori recording 4 hits each.

They also had some great defensive plays by Isla, Lily Wood, Kylie and Bria.

In the final inning, Riley and Kenzie both had big at-bats to inch the Greys closer to victory, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the lead the Blues lengthened in the last inning.

The girls continue to learn and improve and regardless of scores, the coaches are extremely happy with their progress.
