The Town of Kingsville has received questions about red-stained water in roadside drains and creeks near Road 2; this is from a food-grade dye the contractor is using to locate a possible water leak in a new section of the recently installed water main.

We want to assure residents this food-grade dye poses no health or environmental concerns.

You can expect to see additional occurrences in the next few weeks.
